The Mathdoc schemata are a collection of XML Schemata and relating processing components for authoring and producing scientific documents. It supports articles, thesis, classs contents, slides, and more. It is a combination of XHTML, MathML, and specific content to allow authors to structure their information in a way to be more reusable.

Because of the use of XML technology standards, mathdoc documents support both internationalization and disabled access. This allows scientific content to be produced in compliance with ADA regulations for course material and publications.
