Summary: Here are a variety of tools I use in some combination to improve productivity, keep track of my life, etc. They have the added benefit of reducing dependence on proprietary/Microsoft products. A few blogs on related topics are included. I am not affiliated with any of these sites/products.Link: PortableApps
Summary: Unbelievably cool. Kit out your USB drive to let you use your apps, your way on alien computers, without leaving files on their drive. USB drives can be more than just really big floppies!

I had not problem getting contacts and calendar stuff from Outlook imported; mail took several tries because I had so much stored - but I got it in eventually. You will need WebMail extension to get hotmail, gmail, etc. accounts integrated.
