The Opportunity: Let's Get Ready is a dynamic and fast growing non-profit committed to increasing college access for under-served youth. Harnessing the power and expertise of motivated college students, LGR guides and equips high school students through the college admissions process. Offering intensive SAT preparation and key assistance with college selection, applications, and financial aid/scholarship opportunities, LGR fills a critical gap in college access support.

With its main office in New York and a regional office in Boston, LGR in 2008 will run 48 nine-week after-school programs throughout the northeast serving 1,700 high school students with the assistance of 700 college students. Built on collaborations with colleges, high schools and community organizations, LGR's programs are highly successful with over 90% of its students going on to college.
Over the last few years LGR's program sites have more than doubled with demand at an all time high. Site expansion throughout the northeast (and beyond) and continued program development are key priorities. Learn more about LGR at www.letsgetready.org
